Classes are from 6:00pm-7:00pm unless otherwise noted.
Participants MUST register before participating.
Participants are HIGHLY encouraged to register before arriving to class to ensure there's enough space in class. Participants may register for class when they show up, but only if space is available and they use their own device (i.e. mobile phone) and a credit card to register.
Cash and checks are not accepted at the door. Those wishing to pay with cash or check may register for POUND at the Madison County Recreation Department's office during business hours.
What is POUND, you ask?
"Instead of listening to music, you become the music in this exhilarating full-body workout that combines cardio, conditioning, and strength training with yoga and pilates-inspired movements. Using Ripstix®, lightly weighted drumsticks engineered specifically for exercising, POUND transforms drumming into an incredibly effective way of working out. Designed for all fitness levels, POUND® provides the perfect atmosphere for letting loose, getting energized, toning up and rockin’ out! The workout is easily modifiable and the alternative vibe and welcoming philosophy appeals to men and women of all ages and abilities." (Poundfit.com)
