START SMART BASEBALL - Tee Ball (Ages 3-4)
Start Smart Baseball is a developmentally appropriate introductory program that prepares children and their parents for organized tee ball, baseball and softball in a fun non-threatening environment without the fear of getting hurt. Age appropriate equipment will be used in teaching throwing, catching, batting, running and agility.
All players are provided an individual baseball participant kit (for either left or right-handed) that includes a glove, bat, ball, participant manual. They will also receive a t-shirt and hat by MCRD. Players must provide their own pants, socks, belts, and baseball cleats.
Spring Season
Practice will begin early-March and games will run through the beginning of May. Practices will be held at Sammy Haggard Park and Mize Park. Games will be held at Sammy Haggard Park.
