Tee Ball is a great opportunity for kids to learn the basic fundamentals of baseball and softball while enjoying a non-competitive atmosphere that is primarily focused on instruction and ensuring an enjoyable time for all the players. Age appropriate equipment will be used in teaching throwing, catching, batting, running and agility.
All players are provided a glove (for either left or right-handed), jersey and hat by MCRD. Players must provide their own bat, helmet, pants, socks, belts, and baseball cleats.
Spring Season: Practice will begin early-March and games will run through the beginning of May. Practices will be held at Sammy Haggard Park and Mize Park. Games will be held at Sammy Haggard Park.
Fall Season: Practice will begin early-August and games will run through the end of October. Practices will be held at Sammy Haggard Park and Mize Park. Games will be held at Sammy Haggard Park.
Tee Ball Info: https://usabat.com/approved-tee-balls/. Look for the USA Baseball logo on the taper of a bat to know it is approved. Approved tee ball bats are 26” and shorter.
